“…When Kr > 0.1, the Nu f becomes an increasing function of Ra. This behavior has been noticed by many researchers [22,25,26]. The effect of Kr on Nu f ( Figure 9) and on the strength of the vortex jW max j (Figure 10) are tested for various D values.…”

“…An inclined solid wall with respect to the porous medium was not exactly found in the literature. However, the comparison was made by resolving, using the present code, three different cases, namely, conjugate Darcy-Bénard convection (Saleh et al [25]), conjugate horizontally heating (Saied [22]), and nominal convection, i.e., zero wall thickness (Baytas and Pop [27]). The results are documented in Table 1, and it is obvious that good agreement is obtained knowing that different numerical techniques were followed in these three different works.…”

“…Such phenomenon requires an additional equation to be considered for solid region with adequate boundary conditions that links the temperature at porous and solid region (Azeem et al 2016;Ahmed et al 2014;Badruddin et al 2015;Sakakibara et al 1987;Saeid, 2007;Abdallah Al-Amiri et al 2008;Inna et al 2010;Pop et al 2000;Ahmet Kaya et al 2011;Higuera and Pop, 1997). The conjugate heat transfer in porous medium is generally studied with respect to single diffusion or just heat transfer.…”
