Abstract:Background: Pterygium is a growth disorder of fibrovascular tissue from the white part of the eye towards the cornea. Surgery is the main treatment option at this time. Several surgical techniques have been developed and can be performed to treat pterygium cases, one of which is conjunctival autograft.
