Consensus-Based Intelligent Distributed Secondary Control for Multiagent Islanded Microgrid

Abstract: Isolated microgrids (MGs) face challenges in performance stability and active/reactive power sharing as a result of frequency/voltage deviations and mismatched line impedance issues. In this paper, a consensus-based multiagent system (MAS) is proposed as a solution to restore voltage/frequency deviations and enable true power sharing. The invention of an Intelligent Distributed Secondary Control Scheme (IDSCS) can efficiently achieve hoped-for outcomes. The proposed IDSCS features estimation and compensation s… Show more

“…As a result of the DRP, the electrical load shape is better balan as well. Due to the DRP per hour, the heat and electricity peak loads are shifted to ti in which the price of providing electricity and heat is lower [27][28][29]. The DR led to a crease in peak loads and a smoothing of the load curve of the heating system in Figur For the purpose of investigating the DRP, three sub-networks were examined.…”

“…Once the features are obtained, then it is required to look for a classifier. A number of MLCs are already implemented in several research works starting from consensus-based intelligent control [27], machine faults [28][29][30], and islanding detection [31][32][33][34][35], which have their own uniqueness and limitations. Eventually, ensemble machine learning paradigms are stepping ahead with the concept of combining more than one learner together to bolster the classification rate.…”

“…Due to the problems of increasing reliance on energy, the duties of energy managers are now more difcult than they were before. Consequently, MGs are installed to maximize the benefts from the generation side and minimize peak demand hour usage by managing the demand side [1,2].…”

“…MGs may reduce pollution and provide uninterrupted power to the community. MGs switch between isolated and grid-connected modes [1,2]. Standalone, isolated, or autonomous MGs are considered self-sustaining [3].…”
