At present, young people do not assume a philosophical attitude because they accept and take as valid the information coming from the Internet or the media; however, it is an attitude that must be changed, since all information must be analyzed and meditated, and students must develop their abilities, mainly philosophical thinking, which is a means that will allow them to think critically and reflectively about their environment, the university environment and society, with the aim of solving problems with criteria and foundation. This book is structured in five chapters: four theoretical and one research chapter. Regarding the research itself, included in chapter 4, the objective is to determine how the application of the Socrates program improves the development of philosophical thinking in the students of the Philosophy course of the 1st academic cycle of Law of the Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (UPAO). From this, it was concluded that the Socrates program significantly influences the development of philosophical thinking.
