Consideration of manufacturing parameters in the design of grooved globoidal cam indexing mechanisms

Abstract: By considering the manufacturing variables involved in the processes of machining and assembly, analytical expressions for the turret motion and indexing accuracy of intermittent grooved globoidal cam mechanisms have been identified.
