Considerations About the Impact Behavior of Biocomposites Based on Polypropylene and Furan Resins Reinforced With Hemp Shives

Abstract: This paper presents a comparative study regarding the impact behavior between two biocomposites with different matrices, polypropylene and furan resins, reinforced with the same volume fractions of hemp shives. Also the paper analyzes the influence of the volume fraction of the hemp shives on the impact properties of polypropylene-based biocomposites.
