Abstract: In a prospective randomized trial, consolidation treatment with radiotherapy or chemotherapy was compared with no treatment in a series of 172 patients with epithelial ovarian carcinoma, FIGO stage III, with complete surgical remission after primary cytoreductive surgery and induction chemotherapy.
