Abstract:A constant stator power controller for a wind-driven induction generator with double stator windings and a squirrel cage rotor common to both stators is described. The machine can feed power to the grid at variable speed and constant frequency. The torque of the generator is controlled by adjusting the angular displacement of one stator with respect to the other. This generator is called a tandem induction generator.A steady state model for the tandem induction generator is presented, Laboratory test results v… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
