Constrained design and control of trapezoidal waves‐forms hybrid excitation synchronous motor increasing energy accumulator lifetime

Abstract: Summary In this paper, we present a methodology of systemic design and control of an axial synchronous motor structure with hybrid excitation. This structure is with reduced manufacturing cost, since it is with straight and opened slots and with concentrated winding. The coils can be inserted in a single block. This methodology is based on the analytical method producing solutions without iterations and compatible with optimization approaches. Finally, a robust control algorithm of the studied engine compatibl… Show more

“…The wind energy generator is designed by the analytical method using the same equations of an axial motor with permanents magnets by changing some inputs to have a generator structure. Indeed, the inputs of the generator analytical design model are Neji et al (2006), Tounsi and Abdallah (2020), and Tounsi (2019):…”

“…The chosen design method is analytical one, since it is flexible to provide solutions based on the power requirement. This method is based on general theorems of design of electrical device as on simplifying assumptions justified (Neji et al, 2006; Tounsi, 2019; Tounsi and Abdallah, 2020).…”
