Constrained large-eddy simulation of laminar-turbulent transition in compressible channel flow

Abstract: An improved constrained large-eddy simulations (CLES) for wall-bonded compressible transitional flows is proposed by introducing an intermittency factor. The improved model is tested and validated with a compressible channel flow that is transitioning from laminar to turbulent states.
