Farmers access to advance information about the rainfall during the forthcoming season has the potential to help farmers in these areas make advantageous decisions about farm investments and adopt management practices that make best use of the season and reverse the current food and poverty situation The results corroborate those of (Kenkel and Norris, 1995;Shankar et al, 2011;Tadesse et al, 2009;WMO, 2015) who found that Seasonal climate forecasts speed up the adoption rate of high yielding and climatic risks reducing technologies and activities.
