Abstract:Due to Iran's growing need for accelerators in various
applications, NSTRI (Nuclear Science and Technology Research
Institute) has defined a 6 MeV e-Linac (electron linear
accelerator) project for medical and inspection applications. This
electron accelerator has a side-coupled standing wave tube that
operates in π/2 mode at the frequency of 2998.5 MHz. This paper
