“…The psychometric properties of the FS have been assessed and various validated versions have been developed, such as versions in Portuguese, Japanese, Indian, Italian, Spanish, Croatian, Chinese, and in the language of the Netherlands (Silva and Caetano, 2013 ; Sumi, 2014 ; Duan and Xie, 2016 ; Schotanus-Dijkstra et al, 2016 ; Checa et al, 2017 ; Giuntoli et al, 2017 ; Ramírez-Maestre et al, 2017 ; Singh et al, 2017 ; Tong and Wang, 2017 ; Vujčić et al, 2017 ; Hojabrian et al, 2018 ).…”

“… 4 , 6 Although not a flourishing scale per se, the survey included items relating to this construct in its well-being module. Other scales designed specifically to measure flourishing were published subsequently, including the Human Flourishing Questionnaire (HFQ), 7 the Human Psychological Flourishing Scale (HPFS), 8 and the Flourishing Scale (FS). 3 The HFQ, based on Seligman’s 5 PERMA theory of well-being, is a 28-item questionnaire with a 4-factor internal structure referring to positive emotions, relationships, meaning, and achievement.…”

“…The FS has been utilized in a range of well‐being research and therapeutic practices; it has been translated into 17 languages because of its brevity, ease of administration, and comprehensiveness (Schotanus‐Dijkstra et al, 2016). Several validated versions have been constructed, including Portuguese, Japanese, Indian, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, and Dutch (Checa et al, 2017; Duan & Xie, 2019; Hojabrian et al, 2018; Ramirez‐Maestre et al, 2017; Rando et al, 2022; Salama‐Younes, 2017; Schotanus‐Dijkstra et al, 2016; Silva & Caetano, 2013; Singh et al, 2017; Tong & Wang, 2017). In addition, the FS has good psychometric properties, high internal consistency, and strong convergent validity associated with other well‐being scales, according to previous research (De la Fuente et al, 2017; Diener et al, 2010; Fassih‐Ramandi et al, 2020; Hone et al, 2014; Ramírez‐Maestre et al, 2017).…”
