We have read with great interest the article by Lim CSH and colleagues 1 published in the Journal of Surgical Oncology. A novel stent technique, which consisted of an infant feeding tube, a Romovac drainage system, and an Endo Close device, was adopted for constructing the external drainage of the pancreaticojejunal (PJ) anastomosis in this study. It is an impressive and inspiring creation, but some additional points still can be proposed for consideration.
