Abstract:Differentiation matrices are an important tool in the implementation of the spectral collocation method to solve various types of problems involving differential operators. Fractional differentiation of Jacobi orthogonal polynomials can be expressed explicitly through Jacobi–Jacobi transformations between two indexes.
