The country actively promotes the digital transformation of education, explores smart education, promotes the construction of safe campuses, and strives to build a higher level of safe campuses. At present, campus security in universities is facing many severe challenges, such as a lack of overall planning of security systems, inadequate collaborative mechanisms, incomplete security warning mechanisms, and insufficient monitoring capabilities of security facilities. Universities actively deploy the Internet of Things on campuses, and establish a smart and safe campus management platform that integrates access control systems, video systems, and dormitory management systems. Establish an early warning mechanism in advance, improve the ability to control in the event, assist in decision-making after the event, and achieve full process management of smart and safe campuses. This work investigates the challenges and issues in campus security faced by universities and proposes a comprehensive framework for constructing safe campuses under the background of digital intelligence. This work introduces a smart and safe campus management platform, making use of the Internet of Things (IoT), access control systems, and video monitoring to enhance early warning, real-time control, and decisionmaking capabilities. A detailed experimental evaluation that statistically validates the effectiveness of implementing a safe campus with digital intelligence.
