“…Typical bands related to the formation of a condensed siloxane network for SiO 2 materials were detected for all of the materials (1082, 798, and 469 cm –1 ). − The presence of −Ph (Figure c) led to the emergence of the absorption peaks at 739 and 696 cm –1 , which can be attributed to the C–H bending vibration peak of the benzene ring. At the same time, the appearance of Si–C, CC, and C–H (1143, 1427, and 3059 cm –1 , respectively) characteristic absorption peaks further proved the successful introduction of phenyl in the material of Ag/Ph-SiO 2 .
