Purpose: There is a large hue and cry on achieving Super-Intelligence Machines (SIMs) using artificial intelligence technology and its adverse effect on society initially started both academia and industries which is now percolating to society and governance of many countries. It is interesting to study the possibility of the development of Super-Intelligent Machines (SIMs), their predicted abilities to surpass human intelligence in any general or particular area, and also the predicted negative consequences on human life or dangers of using such machines in the sustainability of human life on earth. Methodology: Used exploratory research method to analyse the issue of Achieving & Consequences of Super-Intelligent Machines by collecting relevant & published information using Google search engine, Google Scholar search engine, and Various Artificial Intelligence generating engines like ChatGPT & Bard, etc. The information is analysed using SWOC and ABCD analysis frameworks from various stakeholders’ points of view. Findings: As artificial intelligence continues to advance rapidly, the prospect of creating super-intelligent machines that surpass human cognitive abilities raises crucial questions and concerns. This comprehensive study aimed to analyse the developmental challenges involved in achieving super-intelligence machine, examining the ethical and societal implications, as well as predicting potential negative consequences that might arise from the widespread deployment of such machines. The development roadmap and consequences of such development of SIMs in society are analysed by means of their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges. The advantages, benefits, constraints, and disadvantages of realizing SIMs are also analysed. Finally, certain Suggestions for precautions on consequences on human life are included as percussion for the use of such high-tech systems. Originality/Value: By exploring the risks and benefits associated with super-intelligent machines, this research paper seeks to foster a deeper understanding of the transformative role they might play in shaping our future and to offer insights that can guide policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders in making informed decisions to harness this technology responsibly. PurposeThe present study aims to examine the impact of social media marketing activities (SMMAs) on the adoption of food waste reduction behavior among Generation Z consumers within the restaurant service industry in Pakistan. The study focuses on the impact of social media advertisements and investigates the mediating influence of waste reduction intentions on actual behavior. This underscores the significance of contextual and emotional variables in comprehending consumer behaviors.Design/methodology/approachThe study used a cross-sectional research methodology to examine the impact of SMMAs on the behavior of Generation Z consumers in Pakistan’s food service industry with regard to reducing food waste. A study was conducted to investigate the restaurant purchasing behaviors of a sample consisting of 449 individuals belonging to the millennial generation, often known as Generation Z.FindingsThe majority of variables related to SMMA, except for interactivity and personalization, were shown to have a positive impact on individuals’ intents to reduce food waste. The study observed a significant relationship between consumers’ intentions to decrease waste and their actual behavior in waste reduction. Furthermore, this relationship was shown to be influenced by the mediating role of waste reduction intention.Originality/valueExamining how social media affects Pakistani Generation Z’s efforts to reduce food waste is what makes this study distinctive. According to the research, the majority of social media factors positively influence intentions to reduce waste. The relationship between intentions and actual behavior, which highlights the impact of social media campaigns and emotional aspects in promoting waste reduction, is one of the important conclusions.

Purpose: Organizations are struggling to sustain and grow in the 21st century due to many challenges and uncertainties while doing their business. Long-term sustaining in the business needs retaining the existing customers and attracting new customers through various strategies for satisfying, delighting, and enlightening existing customers, and creating overwhelming demand through business value creation for attracting new customers. It is a challenge for all the decision-makers to find out how to create business value to retain existing customers and attract new customers. Here, a conceptual and exploratory analysis is made of how the innovations using technology create business value for organizations in general. Methodology: This conceptual analysis uses an exploratory research method. The information is collected using Google, Google Scholar, and Artificial Intelligence GPT search engines using appropriate keywords and prompt engineering respectively and the collected, analysed, compared, evaluated, and interpreted towards creating business value using technology with special emphasis on the use of ICCT underlying technologies. The advantages, benefits, constraints, and disadvantages of business value creation using ICCT underlying technologies for business value creation are listed from stakeholders’ points of view. Outcome: The role of twelve ICCT Underlying Technologies including AI, Blockchain, Business intelligence, Cloud computing, Cyber security, 3D printing, IoT, Quantum computing, Mobile marketing, Information storage technology, Ubiquitous education technology, and VR & AR for Business Value Creation like Innovation and Differentiation, Customer focus, Operational efficiency, Strategic Partnerships and Alliances, Talent Management, Effective Marketing and Branding, Financial Performance and Growth, Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, and Adaptability and Agility.
