Contact dermatitis from topical imidazole antifungals: 15 new cases

Abstract

Contact allergy from topical imidazole antifungals is seldom reported. 15 such cases, over a 12-year period, are reported here. Results are discussed particularly with regard to imidazole cross-reactions and to sensitization to topicals combining miconazole and hydrocortisone.

Tetrazepam allergy once more detected by patch test

Kontaktsensibilisierung gegen Azol-Antimykotika

Darüber hinaus lassen sich Kontaktsensibilisierungen auf Azole häufiger -wie auch in unserem Fall -im Rahmen einer Polysensibilisierung nachweisen [5]. Daher müs-sen Kontaktallergien gegen diese Inhaltsstoffe mittels Epikutantest abgeklärt und von denen gegenüber Azolen abgegrenzt werden.…”
