Aim: Aim of this study is to estimate direct and indirect cost of COVID-19 contact tracing (CT) for capital city of Türkiye. Materials and Methods: This is an economic study to estimate the cost for COVID-19 CT program from March 11, 2020 to March 11, 2021. This study was conducted in Pursaklar district of Ankara city. Direct and indirect cost were estimated for national level, the direct costs include fixture, salary of the team, consumption and car while indirect costs include nutritıon, transportation, communication, PPE, Food and others. Results: total direct cost was estimated as $ 69108,3; the highest cost was related to salary ($ 42204,0) followed by consumption ($15560,9), transportation ($5481,0) and fixture ($98,8) while indirect cost was estimated as $5763,6; the highest mean cost was related to transportation ($98,3) followed by shoes-clothes ($91,5), Vitamin-like supplement food ($65,7), food ($43,7), PPE ($34,1) and communication ($17,3) annually. Conclusion: The total cost for COVID-19 contact tracing program for the district was estimated to be $ 69108,3 of which, 91,7% ($ 63344,7) were due to direct cost while 8,3% ($ 5763,6) were generated by indirect cost. The annual national cost for CT team for 2020 was estimated to be 106,288,565.4 $.

Aim The contribution of micronutrients to the immune system has been known for a long time. This study aimed to investigate the association between the micronutrient levels and hemogram values and prognostic factors of the disease in COVID‐19 patients in Ankara City Hospital. Materials and methods Our study is a descriptive observational study based on a retrospective review of patient files. COVID‐19 patients over 18 years of age who were admitted to our hospital between 14 March and 1 June 2020, and with a complete micronutrient profile were included in the study. Age, gender, chronic diseases, micronutrient concentrations in the last 6 months, hemogram data on the day of hospitalization, total length of stay in hospital, and hospitalization to Intensive Care Unit (ICU)‐intubation‐death status of the patients were obtained from the patient files. Results A total of 310 patients whose parameters were thoroughly examined were included in our study; 51.9% of them were men and the mean age of all patients was 57.02 ± 18.28 years, and the most common comorbid disease was hypertension. The percentage of patients who were followed in the ICU, were intubated, and died was 34.5%, 13.9%, and 9.4%, respectively. The mean length of hospital stay was 15.87 ± 12.79 days. Low folate, iron, vitamin D, and hemoglobin levels of the patients and high vitamin B12 concentration were more related to poor prognostic factors. The number of white blood cells was significantly higher in patients with a worse prognosis, and the number of lymphocytes was lower in patients with ICU admission but higher in intubated and dead patients. Conclusion Micronutrient and hemogram values, advanced age, being male, and having comorbid diseases were correlated with the poor prognosis of COVID‐19 infection. Deficiency of Iron, Folate, and vitamin D should be well‐considered in COVID‐19. Excessive vitamin B12 and multivitamin supplementation should be avoided by choosing supplement wisely. In addition, attention should be paid to leukocytosis, lymphocyte counts, and anemia during COVID‐19 patient follow‐up.

Providing user confidence in mobile government services (MGS) is essential for the success of mobile government. This study aimed to test the moderating role of techno-skepticism in the impact of crisis management on mobile government. Due to several inadequacies, citizens seem to respond negatively to the use of certain public technological services, leading them to develop a perspective of techno-skepticism. This issue has been cited in numerous scholarly studies as a critical component in the effective implementation of technological innovations. The effectiveness of digital technology in the procurement of public services is highly dependent on the perceptions and behaviors of its users. In this context, this study measured the attitudes of the participants and the connections between techno-skepticism, mobile government use, and crisis management among Northern Cyprus residents over 18 years old. The study employed a quantitative approach. A five-point Likert scale was used to collect data by modifying the survey questions to fit the scope of the study. The study participants were selected using the random sampling method to acquire data from a total of 402 citizens. The study findings revealed that techno-skepticism mediates the impact of crisis management on mobile government. As a result, techno-skepticism is a critical and decisive factor in citizens’ mobile government use, affecting its utilization frequency. Techno-skepticism was also found to play a vital role in mobile government use. The current study represents a pioneering effort in testing the moderating role of techno-skepticism in the impact of crisis management on mobile government. It also provides various contributions to theory and practice, particularly in the fields of mobile government and the use of digital technologies.
