The article is aimed at revealing the content of efficiency in the implementation of an adaptive system for organizing payment acceptance in an energy sales company. To solve the tasks set, the essence and nature of the factors that determine the effectiveness of the payment acceptance system in an energy sales company are investigated. The organization of an adaptive payment acceptance system in an energy sales company must meet the requirements that determine its effectiveness through cost optimization, as well as its ability to solve the main tasks: to ensure the collection of funds, to ensure the convenience of payment methods by the consumer. Operational efficiency implies an assessment of the speed of receipt of funds from consumers, and the task of improving operational efficiency is to reduce the time of crediting funds to the current account, to minimize the transfer balance of funds (funds in settlements). Economic efficiency implies the organization of a payment acceptance system with the minimization of transaction costs, the internal economic efficiency of the process is coupled with the maximization of public benefit. The task of improving the economic efficiency of the organization of payment acceptance is to work on optimizing its own costs, reducing the commissions of partner organizations. Service efficiency implies justification and establishing a balance between payment acceptance channels, creating convenience for consumers when making payments. The content of the concept of efficiency in building an adaptive system for organizing payment acceptance in an energy sales company is proposed to be considered through the aspects of distributable, productive and dynamic efficiency, which will allow us to assess the current state of the system itself, its stability and ability to adapt to changing conditions, the level of public and social responsibility.
