Abstract:Metabolic syndrome (MS) is a cluster of several risk factors such as abdominal obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, insulin resistance and considered risk for the development of the type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and cardiovascular disease (CVD).
