Abstract:NASA almond CAD model is a standard for radar cross section (RCS) evaluation. In this article we compare the RCS simulation results from Shoot-Bouncing-Ray (SBR) method and Multi-Level-Fast-Multipole-Method (MLFMM). We found under default solver in these two commercial codes, the RCS results show considerable difference in S band where it matters most in terms of RF stealth.
