Folktales are a cultural heritage, both in oral and written form, which needs to be preserved because of their significance in the continuity of the cultural identity of a region. The story of the Cisadane Warrior is a folktale valued as Tangerang's cultural identity. The lack of understanding about the existence of the Cisadane Warrior story has prompted the creation of a virtual reality-based 360-degree illustration design. In literature, the industry has widely used virtual reality media as a storytelling medium because of its advantages in creating an immersive, imaginative world formed from a combination of three-dimensional images or illustrations. In order to enhance the immersivity, 360-degree illustration, supported by animation will be used. The research methods are literature review, study existing, and observations, while the design method includes considerations in selecting and developing narratives (storytelling), choosing the story's atmosphere, and executions using Quill as the primary tool. The observation result of the design process, obstacles encountered, and demo to the selected audience specifies the concept of immersion in building a story, thus allowing the use of virtual reality-based 360-degree illustration design to communicate and introduce local heritages.

This qualitative study aims to explore the intrinsic literary aspects of "Laskar Pelangi" by Andrea Hirata, focusing on themes, character development, plot, Settings, language styles, narrative perspective, and moral values. Employing a research approach involving close textual analysis, thematic examination, character studies, linguistic nuances, and narrative perspectives, we dissected the multifaceted nature of the novel. The analysis revealed intricately developed characters, each embodying resilience and hope, while the narrative techniques, including vivid descriptions, dialogues, and cultural nuances, enriched the immersive experience. The thematic exploration highlighted the novel's profound messages about perseverance, the transformative power of education, and the enduring influence of dedicated mentors. Furthermore, the novel's language style use and narrative perspectives were found to enhance reader engagement and emotional connection. As a result, "Laskar Pelangi" emerged as a testament to the moral values of determination, camaraderie, and the pursuit of knowledge, resonating universally. These findings have significant implications for both literary scholarship and educational discourse, emphasizing the enduring relevance of the novel's themes as valuable educational resources. It also underscores the pivotal role of literature in conveying universal insights into the human condition and storytelling's power to inspire individuals facing adversity, while illuminating the impact of language style use and narrative perspective in enhancing the effectiveness of the literature.AbstractPenelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengexplorasi unsur-unsur intrinsik dari "Laskar Pelangi" sebuah novel karya Andrea Hirata, dengan fokus pada tema, penokohan, alur cerita, gaya bahasa, sudut pandang naratif, dan nilai-nilai moral. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian yang melibatkan analisis teks yang mendalam, analysis tematik, studi karakter, nuansa linguistik, dan sudut pandang naratif, kami menguraikan sifat yang kompleks dari novelini. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa karakterpada novel masing-masing menggambarkan ketahanan dan harapan, sementara teknik naratif, termasuk deskripsi yang jelas, dialog, dan nuansa budaya, memperkaya pengalaman yang mendalam. Eksplorasi tematis menyoroti pesan mendalam novel ini tentang ketekunan, kekuatan transformatif pendidikan, dan pengaruh yang berlangsung dari mentor yang berdedikasi. Selain itu, penggunaan gaya bahasa dan sudut pandang naratif dalam novel ini ditemukan meningkatkan keterlibatan pembaca dan koneksi emosional. Sebagai hasilnya, "Laskar Pelangi" muncul sebagai bukti nilai-nilai moral keteguhan, persaudaraan, dan pencarian pengetahuan, meresap secara universal. This study analyzes the intrinsic elements of a novel that is widely read by the Indonesian people because it contains Teenlit and Chicklit simultaneously. This research uses a type of literature study research. Data collection was carried out by the method of documentation from primary sources in the form of a novel entitled "The Forbidden Heaven". The data were analyzed by reading, recording, classifying, and analyzing the seven intrinsic elements. The results of this study show that; 1) The theme of the novel is quite interesting, and strongly inspiring with contradictory diction. 2) Characterization involves sixteen roles, consisting of the main character and auxiliary with the role of the protagonist and tritagonist. 3) The setting of setting presents several places in Jakarta, Bogor, Kuala Lumpur, and Palestine, but is more dominated by Betawi culture, campuses, and proselytizing organizations. 4) The plot presents a story of togetherness that results in love between Najma and Faisal, is separated by studies and eventually proposed by the one who is also the older brother. 5) The style of the novel language is more dominated by the language of the parable the diction used although less touching, but the reader can feel the emotions built with the spiritual narrative of ruhani. 6) Point of view, the author presents various events with a single and second-person first-person point of view, a singular and plural first-person point of view, as well as a mixture. 7) The main mandate of the novel includes three things, namely; a) Intelligent understanding between qadar and taqdir, through mujahadah, endeavor, prayer, and taqarrub because a soul mate is a difficult thing to predict and part of His (Allah) provisions, b) Keep learning and studying wherever and whenever the breath is still blowing, c) Being an inspirational human being, benefiting others, equip themselves for a more eternal hereafter.
