Continuous Infusion of Beta-lactam Antibiotics

Abstract: For beta-lactam antibiotics continuous infusion can be used to optimise antibiotic therapy. Pre-clinical studies in rodents and in vitro studies have shown the benefits of continuous infusion when compared to intermittent dosing.
