Abstract:A 100-GHz band phased array antenna (PAA) based on a microfiber/liquid crystal composite is reported. This antenna features a simple and cost-effective design while delivering outstanding performance. Experimental results demonstrate that our PAA structure exhibits a high gain of nearly 11 dBi, continuous steering across a broad range of approximately 82.5°, and rapid switching times ranging from 80 to 260 ms.
