Abstract:The contrast characteristics of sub-mesoscale eddies in the area of the Tumen River outflow into the Peter the Great Bay (Sea of Japan / East Sea) are analyzed from satellite ocean color data (remote sensing reflectance spectra and estimates of the concentration of chlorophyll-a). It was shown that during the study period, the contrast-to-noise ratio based on the calculation of the concentration of chlorophyll-a using bio-optical algorithms have greater values compared to the contrasts calculated from sea surf… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
