Contribution to improving hydrodynamics method for hot strip rolling application

Abstract: The present work is a contribution to the improvement of the hydrodynamic method proposed by Si Li et al [2016] used to predict the pressures and the rolling speeds during hot rolling of aluminum strips. The hydrodynamic model gives good prediction however it is based on empirical coefficients that must be identified for each rolling case.
