Abstract:The genus Kalloia (Oribatida, Carabodidae) is recorded in the Oriental region for the first time. A new species — Kalloia gerdweigmanni n. sp. — is described from litter of oil palm plantations and jungle rubber agroforests from Sumatra, Indonesia.
