“…For example, the stories that families tell reminiscing about their recent past experiences, including informal science learning experiences, reveal what children remember and understand about the learning experience (Ornstein et al, 2004; Pagano et al, 2019). Children's conversations at home reminiscing about a prior ISI visit are infused with science talk (Ocular et al, 2022), allowing opportunities for children to extend their science learning beyond ISI walls.
