To solve the problem that the repair material of the bridge's expansion joint anchorage area is prone to debonding from the other bridge components, polyurethane concrete was designed and prepared, and the bonding performance of polyurethane concrete was tested by the bond splitting test, bond direct shear test, bond oblique shear test, and steel reinforcement pull-out test. The results show that the interfacial bond strength of polyurethane concrete and cement concrete can be improved by increasing the interfacial roughness. The bond splitting strength increases by up to 91.4%, the bond direct shear strength increases by up to 55.2%, and the bond oblique shear strength increases by up to 28.9%. The bond strength between polyurethane concrete and cement concrete are minimally influenced by temperature. An increase in the diameter of the reinforcement or the length of the bonded anchorage can increase the ultimate pull-out strength of the polyurethane concrete and the steel reinforcement. Polyurethane concrete is a novel composite material with excellent bonding performance with cement concrete and steel reinforcement, which can be widely used in practical projects, such as repairing bridge expansion joint anchorage areas in the future.

Fluorinated polyurethane (FPU) is a new kind of polyurethane (PU) material with great applicational potential, which is attributed to its high bond energy C-F bonds. Its unique low surface energy, excellent thermal stability, and chemical stability have attracted considerable research attention. FPU with targeted performance can be precisely synthesized through designing fluorochemicals as hard segments, soft segments, or additives and changes to the production process to satisfy the needs of coatings, clothing textiles, and the aerospace and biomedical industries for materials that are hydrophobic and that are resistant to weathering, heat, and flames and that have good biocompatibility. Here, the synthesis, structure, properties, and applications of FPU are comprehensively reviewed. The aims of this research are to shed light on the design scheme, synthesis method, structure, and properties of FPU synthesized from different kinds of fluorochemicals and their applications in different fields and the prospects for the future development of FPU.

Waterborne polyurethane (WPU) damping material has been drawing much attention in academic field because of its low toxicity compared with polyurethane (PU) damping material. In order to expand the application range of WPU damping materials, it is necessary to further improve the hydrophobicity and damping properties of WPU. A novel dangling chain polyol-n (DCP-n, n expressed as average molecular weight of MPEG) was synthesized from methoxypolyethylene glycol (MPEG), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) and 1,1,1-tris (hydroxymethyl) propane (TMP). Subsequently, a series of dangling chain-n-waterborne polyurethane acrylate (DC-n-WPUA, n expressed as average molecular weight of MPEG) emulsions were synthesized using DCP-n as the chain extender. The increase of DCP-n length will fill in free volume, hinder the entry of water molecules. Therefore, improve the hydrophobic performance. In addition, the increase of DCP-n length will lead to more intermolecular friction, which can increase the dissipation of energy, and improves the damping performance of DC-n-WPUA. The test results show that the hydrophobicity of DC-n-WPUA film is improved, and the maximum static water contact angle can reach 110.6 . Dynamic mechanical analysis testing data showed that DC-500-WPUA has the best damping performance, and its effective damping temperature range was 77.9 C (À32.0 $ 45.9 C). The carbamate group on DCP-n will produce hydrogen bonds to restrict the movement of the chain segments, and the hydrogen bond breakage requires more energy. This ameliorates the thermal stability and mechanical properties of DC-n-WPUA. Thus, the initial modulus of DC-n-WPUA larger than the initial modulus of WPUA. Therefore, the DC-n-WPUA have the potential to be applied to hydrophobic damping coatings in the future.
