Controllable Multiple Active Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces Assisted Anti-Jamming Communication

Li Ni,
Yonggang Zhu,
Wenlong Guo

Abstract: Traditional anti-jamming techniques such as frequency hopping (FH) and direction-sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) are easily targeted by jammers. Inspired by the significant advantages of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS), and in order to overcome “double fading”, controllable multiple active RISs are proposed to explore anti-jamming communication in this paper. To verify the feasibility of active RIS, the anti-jamming performance of active RIS is analyzed through theoretical derivation and simulation a… Show more

“…Despite the significant improvement in capacity, with fifth-generation (5G) wireless networks boasting at least a 1000-fold increase compared to their predecessors [3], the data rates and energy efficiency they offer remain insufficient to meet the evolving demands and ensure the sustainable development of 5G and 6G communications [4]. Consequently, designing wireless communication systems with a lower energy consumption and higher data rates has emerged as one of the most formidable challenges in current network design [5].…”
