Abstract:Helical carbon nanofibers (HCNFs) with enhanced wave-absorbing properties are successfully prepared by a combustion method catalyzed by Sn-MOF and with an appropriate amount of water as the combustion additive. A series of characterization methods, such as X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy, consistently show that microstructures suitable for microwave absorption and scattering are formed in the prepared HCNFs with a relatively uniform size… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
