“…Fluorinated compounds such as perfluorokerosene, perfluoroalkytriazines, perfluoroalkylphosphazenes, poly(perfluoroalkyl ether) and (perfluoroalkylethyl)silyl alkyl amines are widely used as reference standards in mass spectrometry. Here we report the DART mass spectra for these common fluorinated reference standards, and conclude that poly(perfluoroalkyl ether), sold as Fomblin® Y, is an inexpensive and convenient standard that provides a large number of reference peaks covering the range from m / z 85 to above 3000.…”
