Abstract:SummaryPorokeratoses are a heterogenous group of autoinflammatory keratinization disorders all characterized by the presence of a cornoid lamella. In addition to gene mutations affecting the mevalonate pathway, environmental factors such as UV radiation, immunosuppression, trauma, and infection are also thought to contribute to porokeratoses.
