Convolvulaceae Juss. em áreas urbanas de Vitória da Conquista, Estado da Bahia, Brasil

Abstract

RESUMO Convolvulaceae Juss. é uma das importantes famílias de hábito trepador, presente na flora brasileira e na Bahia. Objetivou-se analisar a ocorrência das Convolvulaceae na cidade de Vitória da Conquista. Foram registradas para a cidade 19 espécies: Cuscuta americana, Dichondra macrocalyx, Distimake aegyptius, D. cissoides, D. macrocalyx, Evolvulus alsinoides, E. glomeratus, E. latifolius, Ipomoea alba, I. aminicola, I. batatas, I. carnea, I. eriocalyx, I. incarnata, I. nil, I. purpurea, I. ramosissima, Jacquemontia glaucescens e J. nodiflora. Destas, Cuscuta americana, Dichondra macrocalyx, Evolvulus alsinoides, Ipomoea alba, I. amnicola, I. carnea, I. eriocalyx, I. nil, I. purpurea, I. ramosissima e Jacquemontia glaucescens são novos registros para o município. Distimake macrocalyx, Ipomoea aminicola e Jacquemontia glaucescens foram as espécies mais frequentes.

“…A significant portion of the "broad karst system" of Serra do Ramalho corresponds to a large elevated block configuring an already quite incised extension of the Urucuia plateau, where the main karst structures that characterize the local karst are found. The essentially horizontal lithostratigraphic units of the Bambuí Group that support this block [36,37] gain geomorphological expressions in the terraces and erosive steps towards the plateau boundaries, as well as in the locally developed "erosional windows" inside the plateau. The karst features are notably associated with the two carbonate units depicted by the Sete Lagoas and Lagoa do Jacaré formations (calcilutites, calcarenites, calcirudites, and dolomites), although other lithostratigraphic units exert some kind of influence on the active karst processes [38].…”

Atualmente, a região já apresenta estudos taxonômicos referentes às famílias Convolvulaceae Caires, 2022), Desmidiaceae (Santos et al, 2013), Orchidaceae Azevedo, 2011;Marinho, 2012;Azevedo, 2013;Azevedo et al, 2021) e Solanaceae . Além destes estudos referentes a famílias específicas, existem outros trabalhos como Drittich e Souza (2013), Souza et al (2015Souza et al ( , 2016, Soares-Filho et al (2016), Azevedo et al (2018), Goldenberg et al (2020) e Caires et al (2021), que também trazem grande conhecimento à flora municipal.…”
