“…Hereafter the effective diameter will be used for selection and validation of the correlations predicting pressure drop of two phase flow. Table 3 lists the effective diameters and porosities of three beds which are DCC-2 (Reed et al, 1986), Bed-2 with multi-size spheres and Bed-3 with sands particles, since they have the similar size distribution among three beds.
