Cooling Capacity Evolution of Steel Strip during Oscillatory Feeding Process in Slab Continuous Casting

Abstract: To comprehensively understand the effect of oscillation on cooling capacity of steel strip, a mathematical model is proposed to investigate the distribution of temperature fields in continuous cast slabs, taking into account the oscillatory feeding process.
