Keller (1974) described a participatory experience for students in an occupational health setting to augment their public health nursing program, Burkeen (1974) identified a program whereby student nurses were allowed to alternate learning in the classroom setting with practice in an occupational health setting. Petty and Pratt (1983) described an intergenerational health fair project staffed by gerontology students and faculty which benefited the university, students, and older persons.…”
