Abstract:Two Mn(II) coordination polymers [Mn(atza) 2 (H 2 O) 2 ] n (1) and [Mn(atza)(2,2 0 -bipy)(H 2 O)] n ÁnClO 4 (2) (2) [atza = 5-aminotetrazole-1-acetato] have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, element analysis and IR spectra. Each Mn(II) ion has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry in 1 and 2, and the Mn(II) ion centres are connected through the atza bridging ligands to form a 1D ribbon-type polymeric chain for 1 and a 2D layer structure for 2.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
