Copenhagen Quantum Mechanics Emerges from a Deterministic Schrödinger Theory in 11 Dimensional Spacetime Including Weak Field Gravitation

Abstract: We construct a world model consisting of a matter field living in 4 dimensional spacetime and a gravitational field living in 11 dimensional spacetime. The seven hidden dimensions are compactified within a radius estimated by reproducing the particle-wave characteristics of diffraction experiments. In the presence of matter fields the gravitational field develops localized modes with elementary excitations called gravonons which are induced by the sources (massive particles). The final world model treated here… Show more

“…In the presence of baryonic matter local gravitons (called 'gravonons') are created and their entanglement leads to localization of the matter field as beable in three dimensional space. This represents the solution of the measurement problem of Copenhagen Quantum Mechanics (CQM), beables being the only experimentally accessible objects [13]. The gravonon density is attenuated at small distance from the center bulge of a galaxy, whereas it is retained at large distances (section 3).…”

“…The Einstein-Hilbert High Dimensionality theory (EHHD) has been described and applied to numerous physical phenomena [13]- [17]. Soft gravonons, local gravitons, living also in hidden dimensions with high density of states, entangle with matter fields.…”

“…We use the expression beable in the sense of John Bell's local beable. According to our proposal signals in experiments in 3D space can be received only via beables and hence measurements are tied to beables (47). Expressed with John Bell's words: "One of the apparent non-localities of quantum mechanics is the instantaneous, over all space, 'collapse of the wave function' on 'measurement'.…”

“…The method of solving Schrödinger's equation for the time development of the total wave packet has been described in ref. (47). It uses a basis consiting of many particle configurations (the electron, the photon, gravonons, core movement of the carbonyl CO fragment, protein phonons) in a configuration interaction (CI) approximation.…”
