Abstract:A compatible and practical (di)arylmethylation of phosphorylamides was successfully accessed in the presence of copper iodide as the catalyst, azodiisobutyronitrile as the radical initiator, and di‐tert‐butyl peroxide as the oxidant. Both methylarenes and diaryl methanes were compatible under the oxidative conditions, enjoying broad functional groups tolerance (51 examples) and good efficiency (up to 90 % yields).
