Copper droplets agglomeration/coagulation in the conditions similar to industrial ones

Abstract: COPPER DROPLETS AGGLOMERATION / COAGULATION IN THE CONDITIONS SIMILAR TO INDUSTRIAL ONESThe studied copper droplets suspension in the liquid slag came from the direct-to-blister technology developed in the KGHM -Polska Miedź S.A. plants. A treatment by the stimulators and reagents was performed in the conditions delivered / ensured by the BOLMET S.A., Wiechlice. These conditions were similar to those usually applied to the industrial process. Particularly, this treatment was similar, to some extent, to that kn… Show more

“…The microstructure and closely related with it properties AlSi12 silumin requires a change, like that of all casting alloys [4][5][6][7], through modification or processing [8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16]. In the majority of cases alloys are modified to change the form and size of grains, mostly silicon grains, which reduces the interphase spacing of eutectic (α + β) and reduces the size of the primary alpha, but first of all large beta phase [1].…”
