Copper(I)‐Catalyzed Alkylation of Aryl‐ and Alkenylsilanes Activated by Intramolecular Coordination of an Alkoxide

Abstract: Koordination ist gefragt: Die Titelreaktion mit primären Alkyliodiden oder Allyl/Benzylhalogeniden als elektrophile Kupplungspartner C(sp3)‐X gelingt durch intramolekulare Aktivierung über Alkoxidkoordination. Die Alkylierung ist verträglich mit zahlreichen funktionellen Gruppen, so auch mit freien Hydroxygruppen. IPr=1,3‐Bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐yliden.
