Abstract:Sakiyama and Amitori bays of Iriomote Island in Japan are adjacent, but their coral distributions differ significantly. This study investigates the differences in the coral distribution and diversity between both bays from the diversity index and intermediate disturbance hypothesis (IDH) perspective.
