Core-excitation processes of O(1s) in CO, CO2and OCS molecules by electron impact

Abstract: Abstract. Distorted-wave approximation is applied to study electron-impact excitation of core electrons in CO2, CO and OCS. Differential and integral cross sections for the transitions:Π(1σ → 2π) in CO are calculated and reported in the (550-1000)-eV incident energy range.Comparison is made among the calculated data for the three targets.
