Corneal Neurotization in the Setting of Facial Paralysis: A Comprehensive Review of Surgical Techniques

Abstract: Neurotrophic keratopathy is characterized by decreased corneal sensitivity, decreased reflex tearing, and poor corneal healing resulting in corneal injury.
