Although corpus tools are traditionally used by linguists, I intend to demonstrate how they can be offered to non-linguist students to facilitate better understanding of inherent semantics, depart from generic surface understanding of professional texts and delve deep into structures and meanings, enhancing overall linguistic competence of learn… Show more

“…Teachers will sort out the books comprehensively and select materials that are more suitable for students. However, the selected materials often fail to keep pace with the times and meet the learning needs of students, and it is difficult to mobilize students' enthusiasm and initiative [7]. The cases and exercises used in teaching are relatively simple, which can not be updated in time, and are out of touch with the development of the times, so it is difficult to meet the learning needs of modern students.…”

“…The main way of using corpus approaches in teaching foreign language is Computer-Assisted Language Learning, which uses corpus linguistics techniques (Lacková, 2021;Ma et al, 2021) and applies a methodology based on collection and study of language data -Data-Driven Learning. Long-term benefits and importance of this methodology are widely discussed in papers of foreign and Russian authors (Lin et al, 2015;Crosthwaite, 2017;Rudneva, 2020). Topical nature of this approach, especially in terms of modern requirements to higher education in Russian colleges, can be proved by the fact that independent research encourages students to get continuous learning through the use of information technologies.…”

“…In order to ensure that an extensive data that has been gleaned can be uploaded to the cloud in time, the computer edge system must have high data performance to prevent a huge quantity of data gathered by connecting extreme devices and the cloud. Finally, for specific scenarios can be used, various data processing and analysis algorithms must provide a variable software environment for edge devices so that users can develop or transplant programs separately [18]. e system framework is shown in Figure 1.…”
