The modularization of metal‐organic‐frameworks (MOFs) powders is a crucial to bringing out the excellent properties of MOFs to industrial applications in water treatment, gas adsorption/separation and catalytic fields. To improve their practical application and recyclability, we propose a hybrid composite of biocompatible MOFs decorated on self‐supported three‐dimensional (3D) printed polyurethane acrylate (PUA) for wastewater treatment. In this study, we select Bi‐based MOFs with good visible‐light response and chemical stability as photocatalysts, two MOFs, bismuth gallate (Bi‐GA) and bismuth ellagic acid (Bi‐EA), are loaded into the mesh‐like PUA template by in‐situ growth method. And then, these two composites, PUA/Bi‐GA and PUA/Bi‐EA are used for the photocatalytic treatment of Rhodamine‐B (RhB) dye. The results demonstrate that PUA/Bi‐EA could reach the highest removal rate of 98.08% under acidic conditions in 4 hours. The excellent performance should be attributed to unique structure that endow their high adsorption capacity for dyes, further, the adsorbed dye as a sensitizer enhances the utilization of sun‐light. This study provides a new composite for advanced photocatalytic water treatment and other environmental purification.

The components and structures of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are critical two factors that influence their properties and prospective applications. Moreover, the construction of complex MOFs integrating multiple components holds promise to achieve MOFs with unique properties. However, constructing complex MOFs with an intended 3D spatial arrangement of the multiple components remains underdeveloped. Herein, a systematic approach is reported for designing and constructing complex MOFs featuring multi‐metallic components with programmed 3D spatial distributions. Syringe pumps with programmed injection rates are employed to feed the intended amounts of multi‐metallic components into a reactor at specific time points. By controlling the quantities of components present in the reactor, their incorporation within MOFs is carefully managed, eventually achieving the intended spatial arrangement of multi‐metallic components within MOFs. This approach is successfully applied to constructing numerous bimetallic and trimetallic zeolitic imidazolate frameworks with programmed spatial distributions of Zn2+, Co2+, Cu2+, and/or Ni2+, with varied combinations, quantities, sequences, and numbers. This method is also suitable for fabricating the bimetallic MIL‐88B, proving its applicability to many MOFs. Using this method, precise control over multiple components with intended and complex spatial distributions can be attained, enabling the construction of special MOFs with tailored properties and functions.

Electrocatalytic hydrogenation of toxic nitrobenzene to value‐added aniline is of great significance in addressing the issues of energy crisis and environmental pollution. However, it is a considerable challenging and crucial to develop highly efficient and earth‐abundant transition metal‐based electrocatalysts with superior durability for the electro‐hydrogenation of nitrobenzene due to the competitive hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). In this work, a facile approach is designed and introduced to constructing an integrated self‐supported heterostructured Co1‐xNix(OH)(CO3)/Al(OH)3 nanoarrays (CoNiCH/Al(OH)3) for the electrocatalytic reduction of nitrobenzoic acid (PNBA) to p‐aminobenzoic acid (PABA) and its electrocatalytic mechanism for PNBA reduction is investigated. This unique Lewis acid–base pairs with abundant oxygen vacancies (OVs) can effectively regulate the adsorption energy of PNBA and active hydrogen intermediates, facilitate the proton‐coupled electrocatalytic reduction process, leading to the high activity and selectivity for PNBA to PABA. The optimal CoNiCH/Al(OH)3‐0.5 exhibits outstanding performance for the electrocatalytic hydrogenation of PNBA to PABA with a yield of 92%, selectivity of 95% and Faraday efficiency (FE) of 92% at ‐0.545 V (vs reversible hydrogen electrode, RHE) under 0.1 m phosphate buffered solution (PBS) neutral electrolyte. Besides, it can maintain a high electrocatalytic activity for at least eight electrocatalytic cycle‐test.
