The research analyzed the work of the outstanding Soviet pedagogue and writer V.A. Sukhomlynsky, «To Children I Give My Heart». The study focuses on textual reality and the nature of its relationship with reality itself. The subject of the study is the author’s vision of reality in the context of ideological, pedagogical, and aesthetic structures. The methodology of the study is the construction of analytical and synthetic concepts within the framework of the analytical reading of the text in the system of structural approach, which is the new methodological area in the humanitarian fields of knowledge. It analyzes not only the reality of the text of the work, but also the reality constructs that are translucent, connected with the text, but not reduced to a textual certainty. The study identified ideological, semantic, worldview structures that characterize both the author and the era he worked in. A compendium of pedagogy, educational systems and ideology is being created, forming an integral «mythological» system.
